Block Island 1999

This was the tune-up ride for the Blue Hens' first non-RAGBRAI summer for Ed Lynch, Art diSab, and Jay. (Carl would meet us in Vermont). Paul and Pat Tedford, Eddie Pagano, and Betsey McGeever and friend met us at Jay's summer house.

We biked to the ferry in Galilee (5 miles), took the ferry to Block Island, and happened to be there on the first day of issue for a new 20 cent postscard featuring the lighthouse as the stamp! After a wonderful day on BI, we returned to Jay's house (via ferry and bikes) and had a lobster dinner in Galilee.
